almost had the same problem last year with my ZX12 girl I was seeing qualified for the kaw financing I didnt, so we went ahead and got it but the title was in both of our names when we split I went to my credit union and told them the deal they said no problem wrote me a loanfor the bike mailed the payment off to the Kaw financing
I went to see old girl handed her the title said sign it I am thru with your ass
worked out pretty well now my credit with my credit union is so spotless they gave me 2 more loans this year one for my new ZX10 and for a 7x16 enclosed trailer to haul the bikes in

GF moved in couple years ago. After a couple months, she started talking about sharin expenses and cofinancing the house. I quickly put her right on that subject. Good thing too, after about eight more months, I booted her. Get very nervous bout that whole 'communal property' thing.

C'mon, the reality of the situation is that without her, would you have been able to get the ZX? From the sound of things, probably not.
Thus, you actually benefited (quite handsomely) during your time in the relationship. You were actually very lucky. How many of us have ever had girlfriends buy us a brand new motorcycle? I haven't. And in retrospect, I would've loved to have that arrangement when I was younger...even if it meant riding the bike for just a few months.

Hey Sell out_in_FL,
She co-signed. We all don't know the situation, so we can only side with our board member. Bottom line I'm sorry to hear he's losing the 10R

I have.
It was a 1987 Honda CBR1000F Hurricane.
Wrecked the bike last year, but the marriage is still strong.
Tested, frequently, but not weakened.
And I have a ZX-10R now.
