Air Filters?

BMC or K+N?

Which is available now?

Will either one affect the a/f ratio enough to warrant the use of a PC on a stock bike?

I'm at 4500 miles and judging by Fish's pics of his air filter at less than half that mileage, I think I'd rather drop sumthin re-useable in there.

Check with Yoshimura. They are a BMC distributor and seem to get them before anyone else. If you want to install it, I'll run another dyno test for you to see if she sniffs ok and as importantly, if it adds any power without a mapping change.

Well I just put the BMC in it so we'll just hafta wait and see.

Good news is that there was no dirt/debris past the air filter (as was a concern on some 12's).

KB - smae bat time/channel?

If you're concerned about debris past the air filter, you want to heavily grease the seals on your K&N. They leak.

Thanks - I used to.

K+N doesn't have a filter for the 10 yet.
