Dragracing the zx-10

I just go my zx-10 broke in and lowered. I keep hearing these guys talking about adding weight to front of the bike. How is this done and where they mount them? Can somebody show pic of weight on bike?

You clamp a dumb bell to the header, if you can get 20lbs. in there use that...

If not then fabricate a bracket to bolt a box filled with lead 15-25lbs. will do...

Dude! Sign up for a roadrace school. There has got to be one you can get to. There is so much more to these bikes than the throttle and clutch. Imagine a drag race where, at the end of the quarter mile, instead of nancing back to the pits you throw it into turn one with a dozen or so similarly deranged adrenaline junkies all bent on getting out of there first. Then you repeat that Prozac moment 100 times with the knowledge that any display of hesitation will result in someone even more whacked out than you stuffing it up the inside whether there is room or not. Kinda adds a whole new dementia to the sport, don't it?

A crude way would be to add your old rusty Joe Wieder steel 15lb weights on some threadall through the front axle....lol. (have seen this done)

You can have someone fill the front wheel with lead shot or fit a heavier one on there.

But be careful about adding weight. You dont want to upset the bias of the bike too much! You can also have the weight added low in the chassis.... like under the oil pan.
