They both have the same amount of adjustability however, the active version's damping force increases with the handlebar movement speed, while the non active stays the same and is not affected by changing speeds. Hope that makes sense.
Thanks for giving me an excuse to show off the one I just installed.

Dittio what Andy said. I just put mine on. Looks much better then the bulky Scotts. Gold matches the stock bike parts. I got the RSC.

Just read the latest sport rider mag. They have a damper comparison artical. They mention a clearance issue with the mounting bracket if the fork tubes are raised. This was on a zx6r. Can anyone comment on this with their 10r.

So far I love it, it looks very trick and matches the bike like it was made for it. The front feels tighter under hard acceleration and when landing wheelies (not that I do that).
I have to say that I've seen the Scotts damper on Runninghorn's bike and it's not bulky looking at all, looks sweet, this style looks alot bigger, but it's not obnoxious. But hey, if ya spend $400 on a damper whats wrong with it standing out?

So I can't lower my bike in front because damper will be in the way?

No, the only time it'll get in the way is when you need to get the gas tank up, part of the damper will have to be removed first.
