High mount exhaust?

Hey guys. Looking to add an exhaust system to the 10. Was interested in a high mount maybe. Or what's the BEST exhaust to add to these monsters? With the exhaust, is a commander or anything needed also?

Thanks

J

Everyone here will tell you not to get the High Mount as it may cost a bit of HP over a normal system.

Personally I was one of the first to throw a Micron High Mount onto my bike.

I love it! It looks so freaking good and sounds just a good.

If you are going to be a super racer and need every 1/100th then don't get it.

If you are happy to have one damn fast streetbike with a good looking and good sounding system, grab a Micron or other high mount as it fits the lines of the bike very well.

Also you will gain HP over the stock system, perhaps not as much as a low mount system.

No, most hi mount exhausts allow you to retain the rear pegs. I opted to remove my rear pegs, the extra weight of a passeger has helped degrade the damping effect of my rear shock prematurely. NO MORE PASSENGERS. I put a hi mount on my personal Mr. Nasty too.

i also went with the high mount micron and i think it looks good with the lines of the bike. it has a higher pitched sound to it than alot of the other slipons but here again that is what i like, and you can keep the rear pegs. as far as HP over a standard mount it will be a little less but i doubt you could ever feel the difference in the real world...

Johnny- I love the black, that's what I wanted but came across a great deal on the green so I took it. Your bike looks great with the high mount. Good point about the excess weight on the rear.

Thanks for the help.

I like the look of the Devil hi mount, one of my partners has one on his 954. It sounds good too. What do you do about the rear turn signals? Need to clean up the fronts with Euro's though, nice machine. I saw one (blue) at Bike Week last week, dude had the swing arm candy blue with the powder coat removed. Killer bike.
