Throttle adjustment Decelerator
Damn Kawasaki and there damn throttle adjustments. I thought my ZX12R was a pain in the ass to adjust but the damn 10R is a fucking nightmare. The decelerator adjustment is under the air box. You have to take off the tank, then remove the air box and the air box is in there tighter than any virgin I have ever had. And I have had my share! Damn Kawasaki What the hell?

...that rant sounds familiar ...I ain't foolin' around with this bike...if I have to buy special tools to work on it, even something as simple as adjusting the throttle cable should be, then so be it...but geez, Kawasaki, what were you guys thinking about when it came to accesibility for cable adjustments?

hey now...perhaps you'd like to ride a Made-In-USA Buell instead?...just remember that it was the allies, mainly the USA, who assisted greatly in their industrial recovery after "the bombs"...fast forward to 2004...and fast forward on the ZX-10R...the one YOU bought from THEM...in spite of the decell cable debacle (amongst other design quirks), nobody makes technologically advanced and affordable sportbikes better than THEM...nobody...

I have always contended that this bike was not the easiest bike to work on. There are several issues. I consider the decel cable a somewhat minor aggravation. But I don't care. What it does do for me is so damn good, I will put up with the other BS.
