Passenger seat on 10R

Is there a seat out there that keeps the passenger off your back. I took my wife for a ride today and she kept sliding forward into me. Is it that it is new and she is just sliding off the seat. She is 5'7 and 125lbs. I know the angle of the bike and when down shifting or braking the force is going to slide her forward. Is there a seat that offers a saddle type of bump that would offer some type of stopage to the sliding? I am new to the board and I know this post is going to bring on some wise cracks but I would like to get one or two serious feedbacks. She is not happy about me buying the bike in the first place.

I seriously doubt your going to find anything to keep here off ya :-) while riding that is :-) With the angle & braking forces its near impossible.

Not sure if this will work but... Maybe you can contact sargent seats and have them make you something for the passenger seat? Not sure if this helps.

I have been searching the web and come up with nothing. I plan on getting a cowl so I am thinking about taking the seat to an interior guy and see if he can do what I am looking for with out it looking too out of sorts. I figure I will only use it when she is on the bike. Thanks for any help....

Corbin's (at www.corbin.com) seats usually have a more scooped surface with a lip around that keeps the passenger in place a bit better.

She'd prolly have more fun on the back of my ZZR. One would think you could take the rear seat to an upholsterer and have them build up the front of it to help her keep from sliding forward.

...I saw a very cute 'small adult woman' last night...about four feet tall...I dunno what makes it so, but I don't think she was a midget nor a dwarf...she was just cute, beauitful even! and 'small' and 'proportioned' in every manner...at first,I thought she was a kid all dressed up, but she had a few mature 'character wrinkles' on her face and she didn't talk like a child...she would be the perfect passenger on the 10R if you like your passengers to be cute/beautiful small women...

My wife did not talk to me for a week after I brought the 10R home. So maybe if I brought the little women you are talking about home because she fits the bike better I can get a few more weeks of peace and quite.

Good one! Just make sure she eats box and the wife will be cool with it.
