Noise from tank after a ride

Has anyone else noticed a whining noise coming from the tank after a ride? It sounds like it is de-pressurizing. Freeked me out the first time I heard it.

It's the vent system. Fuel vapor is moving around. Prove it by opening the cap - noise goes away after a 'whoosh'.

Mine doesn't whistle. You guys should start a class action suit to get new tanks.

It messed with my head when I was installing a new amp in my van after a hot day. The bike was in the back cooling off and I thought it was wires frying when I heard the hissing sound.
