Help finding an OLD motorcycle mag: "Cycle Oct 79"

Howdy... ran into fellow the other day in the mall... he started talking bikes to us.. told us he used to race.. raced laguna etc ... His name's Peter Puhakka ... he isnt online, but he needs some help... he accidentally threw out some old mags... one of them has him featured in a Champion spark plug ad ... He thinks it's in "Cycle" in the Oct (?) 79 issue... says it's a big ad and he's in there... says "Pete" on his helmet ....

anyone have any old issues could look this up? Perhaps scan the ad and post it? He wants to buy the mag from whoever can locate it?

Scan the ad if we can, post it and I'll call him and take it to him... if it's the right one he wants to buy it...

thanks..

I've probably got it. I'll have to go over to the storage and look. All in good time.

If Doug cannot find one, I will look (After Maxton) for it and it is yours! Do you know what is on the cover?

Contact Cycle World Magazine. Hachette Fillipachi bought them years ago and merged them into one. They have an office in Newport Beach, CA. You should be able to get any back issue of Cycle Magazine.
