Passenger hates 10!
well, took the little lady for her first ride on the 10 yesterday. she absolutely HATES it! she said that my old bike (02 gixxer) was way better for her to ride. is there anything you guys are doing to make passengers a little happier? i know a lot of you are going to say don't ride passengers but she normally enjoys a nice ride from time to time. we have a rather big ride coming up soon. it's the americade in lake george NY. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Might consider getting a custom seat. A major issue with passengers appears to be the significant slope with the 10r seat. A gentleman by the name of Tobin O'Conner ph. 717-792-3708 does some beautiful work at a very reasonable price. Perhaps you could find out what her major complaints were and Tobin could build suit her tush. Also, a Buddy-Belt goes a long way towards reducing passenger fatigue. She would not have to lean so far forward to secure herself.

the leaning foward is her major complaint. the slope on this seat is definitely greater than the one on my last bike she said and the pressure is awful on her wrists. the new seat could probably make her a lot more comfortable. what exactly is a buddy belt and how does it work. i have never heard of one before. right now all she has to hang on to is the gas tank.

The Buddy-Belt looks like a regular back support belt with adjustable handgripes attached on the back side for the passenger to hold onto.
Buddy-Belt ph. 908-850-0612 price is $50.00
I believe they also have a web site at buddybelt.com otherwise do a google search.
