Thinking about selling it...

Yep, had it in for service and got offered a pretty good price by someone who was interested in getting one...

So what do you think? Should I let the ZZR go and look at another sport tourer? Or is it time to pick up the cruiser, maybe a mean streak or Vulcan 2000?

Not the 2000 - it is a whale of an excessive amount of metal.

I think I have a ZRX in my other-bike future, not quite ready for a cruiser. I think if I do get a cruiser, it will have pegs and not boards though...

but I'm having too much fun on the 10R to even consider a cruiser. I just got back from a 690mile weekend romp through the mountains (and some desert between home and the twisties)...

I'm looking at a 1600 Mean Streak first. Awesome looking bike for 10999. I'll try that one first and look at 10 down the road.

Mean Streak is a nice one. More nimble than the 2000. I think it looks cooler too!

I really gotta agree, I would have a lot more fun with a Mean Streak than a 2000.

Yep. I had a '99 also. She's a dandy cruiser.

a betting man, or an "informed" man may choose to wait and see the 05 ZX12R.

Of course this should be taken with a grain of salt, but I was told at the dealer today that coming from a Kawasaki rep, that there is going to be a zx13 with somewhere in the neighborhood of 170hp.

...uh huh, I can't wait for the new and improved ZX-12R ...but I remember my ride of the 2000...hefty, but I think I could get used to it...the MeanStreak was definitely the handler of the two...but oh what a lovely motor

Dont tease with a better ZX12R, I owned mine for 2 years and with 26,000, thinking about selling it for a ZX10, but man, I love the high speed runs and the way the 12 feels at high speeds makes me feel very comfy, hmmmm , Id hate to sacrifice my beast for a lighter bike, ,,,,maybe if the twelve was just a little lighter ;a little more powerful , and with a lil aerodynamic change I would wait and c. I like all the stories people write about the 10R , Ill wait till December to c IF I get a revamped 12 with a whole lot of goodies , if no changes are good, I think im moving to a lighter class. I dont regret anything about my 02 12R I love it

Nope, I don't plan on hyperballistic cruising. Don't 'spect to hit much over 90mph on whatever I decide upon. Just want it to be competent when the road turns twisty and comfortable enough for a thousand mile day. Oh, and 40+ mpg.

...if it doesn't have to be a Kawasaki, may I suggest the Yamaha Road Warrior?...

There's the Road Star Warrior. I love the look and torque on that beast.

I am always pleasantly surprised when people don't know about yamaha's best kept secret, the road warrior.
Especially love it when I'm riding mine and nobody knows what it is.
