pissed at my service manager
went to check on my bike yesterday. service manager said kawi had only authorized them to pull the sump and check for the timing rotor pieces, which they said they did on saturday. result being all pieces but one found. Was told that they now needed to call kawi and get authorization for complete teardown, and they could 'possibly' get around to it sometime this week. Called kawi customer service when i got home to find out that they told my dealer to completely disassemble the motor immediately on the same day i brought the bike in! never told them to only pull the sump. a call to the dealers general manager resulted in the following: motor will be torn down wednesday and put back together thursday regardless of what other work comes in. also got the thinner head gasket thrown in. gonna work on em for a free cowl. damn service manager not only lied to my face about the work being done, but also cost me a week of riding.

What is the new compression ratio with the thinner head gasket supposed to be ?
You can get 13-13.2 CR and still use pump premium gas .

dont know exactly. gasket is supposed to be .05 mm thinner.
