And they keep saying that illegal immigrants do no harm.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, but glad you were geared-up and will be alright. Rest up and lots of Advil.

If riding is in your blood, and you are physically to ride YOU WILL RIDE AGAIN!

Heal fast dude.

(This comes from an idiot who has wrecked a few bikes and wrecked / rolled more than a couple of sports cars)

I've been through the broken leg thing, twice! Lay low for awhile, rest and recover soon. Oh yeah, and find all the good web sites we may be missing.

Dude - what shitty luck! I can kinda feel your pain - so while it may not make you feel totally better, I'll give you brief synopsis of my bad luck as of late:

For over two years I've ridden the street without incident. No accidents, nothing. Then in the past four months the following happen in almost quick order:

1. I low-side my best buddies 10-R with less than 10 miles on it.

2. That very weekend I get into a crash road racing and break my right collarbone, three ribs, and a scapula. The next week I have screws and a plate put in my collarbone.

3. Last weekend I raced and had a guy hit me on the RIGHT side (my bad shoulder) but at least he didn't wreck. Put a dent in my exhaust can, though.

4. Yesterday I was running a dirt bike race (Hare scramble) and didn't even make the first lap before I botched a creek jump. I landed with the front wheel EXACTLY on a root and lost the front end. Rolled into a tree and hit....my right shoulder. Now I'm back in a sling.

What are the odds of all this?

Keep your chin up my man. Heal up and if you do get another bike don't get on it until you are all healed up and ready....like I'm one to be talking...

jw - thatz all you had happen in four months? Jeez, I wish I was that lucky.... Actually, I may bale frequently (mostly in the dirt, knock-on-wood), but don't normally break anything but my head and skin.....

I've just come to expect it to happen many, many years ago. It's just inevitable.... If you're on 2 wheels, it's gonna happen. Sometimes you think, "why me"....

Those damn illegal Wet Backs! There over here with no insurance you best have you some uninsured motorist insurance. I had the same thing happen to me in 2000. Wet back hit me and totaled my 2000 Toyota Tundra Limited
