i hate wind Well tonight a few of us went out to shoot some pool about 6 bikes parked on the sidewalk and 3 in the lot where i was. we walk out and find the 3 bikes in the lot had gotten blown over. Just my luck. broke the foot peg bent a mounting braket for the farings and lower farring was srapped up and also pipe and handle bar and mirror. I hate the luck i have

no just mine was a 10 the other bikes were a 1000rr and an r1 got to love that. the r1 feel into the 1000rr i feel for those 2. the plastic on my bike is now bad just srapped upvery little.

Man sorry to hear about your bike..well i hear the plastics on the 10 is not to bad in price...if i wanted to change the color on my bike including the tank will cost me 1300 bucks..but iam sure you can get a couple pieces of plastics for a couple hundred bucks good luck man.....

I feel your pain...had mine tip over under similar circumstances.
Only damage is a broken right footpeg, and a very small scratch on the exhaust can and clutch lever. My heart was in my throat but I felt better after I saw how minimal the damage was.
Anybody know where to get rearsets ?
I might as well get a set since I have to replace the right-side footpeg.

Bummer, but you know it wouldn't have blown over if you would have been riding the ZX10 like you should have been. Save the pool for days when the weather is too chitty to ride.

dang the wind here gets hella bad, but i have never heard of a parked bike being blown over by strong winds...my 12, granted it is heavier, sits just fine in some bad winds, side ones too....
good luck with that, sorry to hear the bad news...
