SCOTTS Damper kit on back order.
A rep from scotts called today. She said it would be a couple of week till my damper (KIT ONLY) would arrive. The damper unit is from another bike. I also had to purchase another arm and a puller tool for it. I am starting to wonder if the scotts is worth it. I had over $400 in it to start and another almost $200 to fit it to this bike. Lucky it is a great product and a very nice helpfull staff. Oh yea she said the fluid in the damper is 2.5 weight fork oil. If that helps anyone wanting to change fluid.

Thats cool but I already had the scotts unit. I just need the mounting kit. It would have been crazy to get the whole kit over again.

I ordered just the mounting kit from kneedraggers and they sent me the whole thing. The tongue on the new one is a lot longer than the one off my 929.. Gonna ebay the old one.
