I believe all the major mags are doing comparisons this month. The field is really nice this year so I don't think he will go wrong with anything. Love my 10R but the Honda turned my head as well. I really don't feel as tho he would be disappointed with any model including the Gixxer. Technology has really come along way the past few years. These hyperbikes are just awsome . . . . my .10R cents!

If he has internet access he could check the boards out.

Not sure where the Honda heads hang out.

2,000 miles in 3 weeks and nothin broke yet - don't really expect it to either.

Actually - I don't think he could buy a "bad" bike anyway, they're all excellent.

I just really don't think the nut-roaster exhaust option is sumthin I wanna deal with wilst splitting lanes as we often hafta do here (so that effectively took out the Yammie and the Honda as choices fer me).

Factory service contract - the only way ta fly.

If he is financing, Kaw had some real nice interest rate promotions when I purchased last month. That had alot to do with me going Team Blue this year, which by the way is the only color produced on Wednesdays (fastest day of the week).

This is about the best responses I have seen on any board. All the bikes now are so close(perfprmance-power. As stupid as it may sound, it will be personal preference (looks) or Manufacturer names (Kawi-Hon-Suz-Hon) that will make the choice for most. Just my .02

you should get the kawayamizukonda. That thing RIPS!!! Just make sure and put the Mvagustabimot tires on it or you might lose traction in the 200+ mph hour right handers!!

What is the power of the ZX10 with PCIIIR and exaust?

Im leaning towards the 2003 R1, that with filter, velocity stacks and exaust is around the 160 rwhp.

Warren is looking at a black/red flames 03 now too - dunno if the missus will go with that though.

Real world hp for a piped/mapped ZX10 is prolly 160-165 (remember it's onlt 436 pounds wet - mebbe a few pounds less with a/m system too).
