Have you seen or heard the Vortex sliders described? Ron over at Pipe City was trying to call them for me to find out what they had planned for the 10R, but apparently they couldn't get their hands on one until last week.
Anyway, I'm hoping for a solution that does not require me to cut my fairings, but suspect most will.

I'd think that most sliders are just cylinderical hard plastics that you can hopefully bolt on to an existing point on the m/c where it would be wider than the overall width of the m/c's bodywork without making it look like highway pegs of some sort, no?...and one at the each end of the handlebars would be nice, too...or just try not to crash, yes?...

The problem is the engine-frame mounting points are under plastic, and the plastic mounting points are unsuitable for framesliders. We can either cut holes in the plastics, or run some sort of bracing under the plastic and have the Delrin cylinder mount through the normal fairing mount point.
The third option we've seen is from the Kawasaki Europe aftermarket catalog where they do the offset-slider from the rear linkage-frame bolt. That setup has pics in a thread here

Intuitive (http://www.inturace.com/default.htm) has them (no fairing modification), but may not be advertising them yet. I have one of the first sets in the mail, due to arrive on Thursday (4-29). When I get them I'll post some pics.
