Fuel light

When I picked up my bike last week, I was sure the salesperson told me he filled up the tank full for me. After riding the bike for about 90km, the fuel light came on. I started cursing the salesperson figuring he lied to me about filling the tank. I get to gas station and fill up. It only takes 11 litres. Is this an early sign of some sensor going wrong?

No, probably just a sign of the way it is set. No big deal, I always go by mileage most of the time anyway. The fuel gauge on my 89 ZX10 was always way off, but you get used to how it works. I haven't got my 04 ZX10 tank down far enuf yet to notice.
