Need help with bleeding the brakes! Got the front goodridges on tonite but I can not get them to bleed! All I get is fluid from the nipple but no feel to the lever. Sometimes if I squeeze the hose from the resivoir to the cylinder on top of the handle bars I get a few bubbles. Is that air just working its way back up?
I am stumped! Ive NEVER had problems like this before!

Bleeding Let gravity help you get the calipers full of fluid by opening the bleed valves. When fluid starts flowing from them, close them. Build some pressure by pumping with the lever. Whith the lever fully actuated, crack the banjo bolt on the master cylinder. Tighten the banjo before releasing the lever. Repeat three or four times. Start bleeding the calipers using the same method. This works for me every time. Good luck.

I gave up years ago and bought the vacuum type bleed setup.

If you installed new lines.. you need a vaccuum pump. Why make a project out of something so simple.
I can do all 3 brakes on the 12 in under 15mins. (and you know where the rear reservoir is located, right?) ____________

I have used Mitey Vacs with great success. What I have now is a positive pressure Mitey Vac, that pushes fluid up from the nipple to the reservior.

I finally got it. The bolt going into the master cylinder is not the right size and was causing a air leak! I do need to get a vaccumm though!

The bolt in the Goodridge kit was wrong? Where did you get that kit?
