Mirror Rant I'm an average size guy and these mirrors are useless!! Anyone find a viable alternative yet (besides those helmet mirrors)? The paranoia from not being able to check my 6 at a stoplight is messing with my head. And emergency vehicles better have the siren blaring or I'll never pull over. From what I've read, there are no bolt on replacements from other models that work. I'm open to ideas, fellers.

Well, that oughta cover the most expensive solution possible. I was kinda hoping to find a bolt on set from some other model however.

Hey, I seen the mini bar end mirrors, not bad and they look as though to they really work and they are small enough that they really don't detract for the overall lines of the bike. I think I saw them in the MAW catalog I get every so often. I'll look in few minutes and see what the deal is.

Do they attach pretty much like bar end weights? I'm going to measure mounting bolt spacing on the 10 and try that route today. It would be nice to find a wrecked bike with what I need.

With the vibration that the 10R has! The bar end type will be even more useless, I have riden 2 totally different bikes with Bar end mirrors and they have both been removed and replaced with stockers.

I think Triumph mirrors will fit and they have significantly longer stalks. Any Triumph/Kawasaki dealer out there who can check and report?

I'm not the skinniest guy, and I get a bout a half a mirror on each side, which is enough for me. I rotated the arms to stick the mirrors out as far as possible to each side, then adjusted them.

Andy you are spot on. This is the first bike that I can remember owning where the only way to use the mirrors is to lift & look through your pitts. And actually, that is the pitts.....

I had the small bar end mirrors on my last bike (Z1000)
OMG did the suck.
Just slightly better than no mirrors at all.
Here are the reasons.
1) They are very low and wide on the bike, very hard look into them and stay focused on the road.
2) Way to small, can't see anything in them.
3) They viberate like mad, can't see anything at all in them.
In fact I got pulled for doing a wheelie by the cop who was directly behind me. He was no more than 100 feet behind me and I couldn't tell.
The mirrors on the 10 are 10 times better than small ber ends.

He was more specific. Some full size bar end mirrors are functional and if you use two you can look like Sister Bertrille.
