Interesting - How many miles were on that motor? Looking at the bike and rear tire, not a lot, I would bet...

now.. since I've unpacked my own 10R... I can see that that's a freshly uncrated unit.. so... it's not gonna get shoved back in the crate after that dyno run, is it
maybe not as fresh as it was earlier ....
fresh off the assembly line like mine ?...

FYI here's a comparo to see the difference with the correcting factors...
Looks better huh? Same bike, same run...different correcting factor.

We break them in on the dyno.
Nothing but the pipe....similar to a gsxr1K without a filter or pc3. They pick up 14-16hp all done up, 10 pipe only.

How many runs were done to break in the bike to get the standard reading?
Someone over here also did the breaking in of his ZX10R on the dyno.
He got 152 SAE HP at the 5th run and 160 SAE HP at the 37th run.
So would the difference between stock and the Ti-force pipe not be (partly)due to the breaking in effect?

Nice little "spike" at the top of each of the piped graph when it bounces off the limiter... adds about 5hp to what it's really making.
Nice looking pipe ____________ Some day, you're going to run out of some days

Erich-No correcting factor on the second graph but I posted it just to show you how dynos can be manipulated. The day these were done it wasn't a bad day but here's how the numbers work out: All rounded up or down to the nearest whole number.
None:157/78-167/80
SAE:152/76-162/78
DIN:157/78-167/81
EEC:152/76-162/78
STD:156/78-166/80
JIS:152/76-163/78
TAFB-I haven't seen the Arata up close and personal or seen a dyno sheet yet. Not a bad pipe but limited availability, just about any franchised dealer can sell you a TiForce, no problem.
BK-I believe they break it in and then run it till they get a bunch of repeatable results then they start. The power gains will be the same on a bike once has however many miles on her.
Matt...both graphs have the spike so it's a wash.
