Love to see it with the Muzzy Bonny box, but that would be scary on such a light bike!
186mph

Funny how they got it to go 186, yet folks at sea level in optimum conditions could muster more than 179mph.

Here are the stats from Cycleworld. (ZX-10R)
there were no numbers for the YZF-R1. it will all be in the next issue.
*433lbs
*155.5 @ 9250rpm ("the highest figure they have yet to see from a
liter-bike. in comparison, the CBR 1000RR made 145 bhp & the GSX-R
made 141 bhp, curiously down 6 ponies from our '03 testbike.")
*10.16et @ 140.41mph ("that's a virtual tie with the 10.14et @ 140.79
turned in by the new Honda, and while it's slower than the 10.05et @
142.46 posted by our '03 Suzuki, it's better than the 10.27et @ 139.91
of this years model.
*"the radar gun showing a top speed of 181mph in spite of detectable
clutch slippage resulting from or numerous dragstrip launches. Even so,
that's 3 mph faster than the CBR and 5 mph faster than the GSX-R.
*they also stated that the gearbox "gave us not one problem during
spirited street riding."
