Finally got my Black 10R!!!
Yup, finally got her!!! It actually came in last week..but I had to work out some financial stuff! As you will see in the pics below...I had to trade in my 6R, but as much as I will miss it--this bike rocks! And I've only gone 50 miles in break-in mode!
Ok short first impressions.
I think coming of the 03 6R has helped the transition a bunch. When I went from a 7R to the 6R it was like holy crap I'm sitting on the handlebars! But it was a smooth transition to the 10. Oh and for those complaining about the mirrors--have you rode a 03-046R ?? While these mirrors aren't great they are a bit better then the 6R, at least to me that is.
The bike definitely feels like it wants open up and scream...but at the same time it's rideable and smooth. Like I said with only 50 miles on it...it feels incredible, almost like a supercharged 6R. The comfort level is better then on the 6. It's nice to be in Break-in and at least have enough MPH to not get run off the road! I'm definitely stoked and actually can't wait to ride to work tomorrow.
Again, not much to go on--but this baby rocks and I can't wait to get to know her better!
It was actually pretty tough letting the 6 go...

You ride with any groups in AZ? I ride with a good group of people at PSC. They have weekly rides and I usually try to get out with them.
The weather is going to be awesome soon because it's suppose to cool down a little.
I'm at Luke so my weekdays are pretty filled up, but I will be taking the long way to work and home to build up some miles. I'll let you know when I'll be out on the weekend and maybe we can meet up.....I'll be the slow guy on the fastest bike out there
And hey...your bike looks like mine!
