10Rs are in Phoenix!
Well, I have a confirmed green one arriving at Apache in Phoenix....I was #1 on the list but waiting for a black one--they also said they won't budge from list price until after about 2-3 bikes are sold...

Smart dealer. He doesn't need to on such a hot bike. I hate it when the dealers know that....

I agree...but I have a real good deal at a california dealership (old stomping grounds) but there is the distance thing  and I have a solid deal at another local dealership in phoenix...just waiting to see when they get theirs.
I don't disagree with dealerships making money on hot bikes or any bikes for that matter--that's why they are there...I hope to own one myself soon...but I will always go where the best deal is and after that show loyalty to that shop (hence the Cali shop--bought my last 2 bikes there as well as parts and accessories).

But why would you want a CA model bike due to the extra emissions that are required? My girl's Camry is a CA model and those fools thew in an extra oxygen sensor for no reason but to comply to CA emissions but it doesnt comply to her wallet. Eeeeek.

Kawi usually will send ALL Cali models out West?
It only takes a minute to yank the crap off of it.

Yeah, actually as far as I know AZ receives CA models... and hey havabusa12R....what are you talking about?? No weaseling here...all they told me was that a guy bought a R1 and a black one was available...so I said give me some numbers...they never did...in fact I know the other guy who has a hold on a black one up there....as far as I know it's only between you and him....I would have been 3rd on the list..but they never gave me any numbers and said it would be a while before another black one came in...so I haven't called since....

I'm thinking that the BLACK will be here THIS week!
I'll be dropping of my R1 at Walt's for a pipe / 600 mile service on Thursday, before heading to Mesa to swap my Ducati for a service and riding my Mille back to Havasu. My R1 should be done and the 10r should?
be sitting on the floor-waiting for me to decide.

The R1 is nice, but I think the 10r is more to my taste.
(I hear that MV is going to bring their 1000 cc screamer over here-just for
the price of 3 10r's)

Nope....mine hasn't come in yet...but I know there is a black one that was sold at Kelly's and a green one at Apache... Oh and I also called Walt's to see if you guys got anything yet. The dude that had the hold on the other black 10r up there already bought his in Texas (green one). So if another black one comes in after yours you better let me know!!

Yeah, the bastard that was #1 on the list at Kelly's decided he liked black better than orange. They have an Orange on the floor.
Kellys is getting two more today - and I get first dibs on either of them.

As mentioned earlier-- there is still a orange one at Kelly's Kawasaki in Mesa. There is also a green one on the floor at Apache in Phoenix. Just an update.
