Ok here is the deal....mine is here (since Friday)....they are holding it for me (i know them and I have a pretty big deposit down)...hopefully this week. As far as I know there is black one at Anthem. Here's a pic of mine....  This waiting is going to kill me !!

Thanks...well, the holdup is on my part--I closed on a equity loan so I'm waiting on my check to cash out... They are cool with it because they can show it on the floor for prospective buyers....

I paid $10400. Bout another grand in tax. Wasn't going to hassle them too much, as the down was a trade in, and they gave me $4K for it. And worked their ass off getting me the black one.

Hey do you know what size spools it takes? 10mm? Just wondering before I trade my 6 in if the spools will fit.... Hopefully, I'll get everything worked out by tomorrow and be on the bike NLT Wed...so wish me luck

I was not going to get a killer OTD deal, either.
I think that some guys were not truthin' when speaking of a blow out price on a 10r.
My 04R1 may have screwed me out of the 10r, I may have to wait. I do not think that my dealer will have any trouble selling my black one to someone.
I am sure that he would want to keep it local for the parts and service.
(I am planning another trip to Europe, this summer)

I actually called home from work to check my voicemail.
I got the "the black one is put together and sitting on the floor, come check it out"
I made an excuse to leave work and man, it IS A BEAUTY.
I told my dealer to pass on me for the first crack, he said that he'll give me until tomorrow.
If my 04R1 AND 10r were both sitting there at the same time, I would have jumped on the 10 and then hoped for an R1 deal.
Oh well, enjoy the bikes, guys. I'll have my R1 at ECS around the corner for some dyno time.
