What did / do you still ride besides the 10R

Just interested in seeing what folks have/had before deciding upon a 10R...

No need to list all the bikes, just your last/current ride.

'00 12R - gone
'90 KDX - still goin' strong and lookin' good!

She's wantin' to go out and play, but is total unaware of what's lurking in the trailer... just outside the garage door. She thinks I've been cleaning out the garage just for her. Have been making room for both the new baby and arranging everything for "rapid deployment" for race track activities.

Tonight will be me first close look and damage inspection. After a breif look last night, I was surprised on how it might be less damage and easier to repair if the same had happened to my old 12R.

Rode one. But never bought it. Hey that just remineded me. I did own a H1 for about 6 weeks. I seized it solid and went on my ear. Sold it to a racer friend. Left that one off the list.

DB - I owned most of them before I started working for Jardine. Now I just do it for the love.

jake76> have you sat on any R1 or a new zx6r or for that matter the new zx10. I didn't say it was a bad bike, I would love to keep it so I can keep on racing it, but we can only have 3 vehicles here and the race bike counts as 1, and with the 10 coming the gsxr has to go. Now the 01 ZX7R I had before this one was porky, but was a blast to ride, simply for the fact it has been the most stable bike I've ever owned, throw it on it's side and it stays there without any complaints. So basically compared with the new 10 yes the GSXR is kinda porky.

-Kawasaki 1000 LTD 77 (nice bike, black and all)
-Suzuki GS 1000 78 (smooth state of the art for it's time)
-Kawasaki KZ1300 78 (one of my all time favs)
-Kawasaki (Moly Graphics American Turbo Pak) Z1R 78 (scared the crap outta me and my friends on the back blew it up 2 times)
-Suzuki GS1100 81 (nice typicial Suzuki smoothness etc) little wobbly if not setup right
-Kawasak KX 420 81 (just about broke my ankle trying to start it)

-Kawasaki ZX11 90 (Thought I was in heaven for a bike, fast smooth)
-Kawasaki ZX11 93 (ditto but better)
-Suzuki Hayabusa 99 (black, pretty fun, decepitve power delivery, low/long, sore knees)
-Kawasaki ZX12R 00 (ya all know the feeling here)
-Kawasaki ZX12R 02 (ditto only better)
-Kawasaki KX 250 02 (good deal for a fair bike)
-Kawasaki KX 250 03 (good deal for a much improved bike)
-Kawasaki ZX 10R 04 ( black,can't wait)
Prolly missed a few but ........Gawd...... I still have some memory!!!! I challenge some of you "experienced" owners to see what you can remember of your older friends (bikes) as you can see I was and still am a Kwak guy and some Suzuki's I like too! But inbetween, drag raced a bunch of High HP Suzuki's that were total race bikes only and are not listed here.

Actually my brother owns a 03 R1 and I think both my 750 and his R1 are pretty close in size and weight, at least they feel like they are while sitting on and riding them. If you want to talk about a porky bike, my bro also owns a RC 51. Now that thing is a tank!!! Sounds like it's handles pretty similiar to your old 7R. Heavy yet extremely stable in the corners, that is once you've finally fought it over.
