Shunji Tanaka san ??? I'm wondering if Tanaka san , the designer of the Z1000, is also the designer of the ZX10R and most other new models. The Z1000 owners got to meet him AND the president of Kawasaki Motors at Daytona .They were very nice gentlemen. The were very interested in our mods ,and our thoughts and feelings about thier products. We really enjoyed it.

Tanaka-san is the principle designer of 4 bikes so far...Z1000, ZX6R, ZX10R, Z750. In interviews, Tanaka states these bikes are just the beginning of whats to come from Kawasaki. He previously worked at Mazda where he designed the Miata.
