10R is here in Hampton & Norfolf, VA
I road the 12r to shake off the winter dust and stopped by Casey Cycles and there she was all pretty and black, just sitting in the window of the shop. So, I asked about the price, 10,999, but I have cash and they suddenly developed the inability to speak. So, I tore butt home to call the dealed I thought I was going through, he hasn't check on anything. The bike was on it's way he ound out after checking the computer, but he still didn't have a price. I've had a deposit on the bike since August and you don't know the price. Excuse me while I vomit. He tells me he needs to check with Kawasaki. For what i asked, you set the price, which is totally independant of what KHI sets the MSRP at, it's called dealing... So he spat out $10,699, he assumes. I told him I needed a firm number so I knw what to bring with me. Again, he is confused. I think I will get my deposit back and sit this one out if everyone esle joins this practice. It's not like I don't have a bike to ride...
P.S. Hollar if you know of someone dealing on these

I'm lost on what you meant by "the inability to speak" - they didn't want to talk to you if you had cash?
Your original dealer is saying 10,699 for a cash sale, too?

Ahhh, we both live in VA and you couldn't email me this info? lol. What dealer and how many do they have, and in which colors?

I mentioned cash and could have been back there on site in less than an hour and he didn't said anything else after that. So, I Went home to call Ultimate Cycles and they gave me a ride too.

I probably should have emailed you , but I was kind of upset that these people are not willing to do what it takes to get the repeat customer, I wasn't trying to steal the darn thing. I simply asked for a fair price and I am paying cash, check, money order, coins, gold pieces, whatever...

Just talked with the dealer. They'll get the shipment paperwork Tuesday, should get the bike Thursday.

Johnny, stay away from Casey's man, those guys really suck. They wouldn't even let me sit on one of the ZX7's they had sitting in the shop there "cause things could happen" so I brought out the cashiers check I had for 9k and told them that my money was burning a hole in my pocket, but they weren't going to see any of it and ended up getting it at Sunrise for 7500 out the door. Cycle world doesn't seem too bad either. Koups in Harrisburg has a black one. check their web site, and give them a call.

1bad7> Thanks, I know all about the boys at Casey, I've known most of them since they bought out Mars Motorcycles back in 1986. Ill have to look up Koups and see what they have to say. I'll give the Ultimate Cycles one more talk and if they still act an arse, I ride out to get my deposit back next weekend.

Talk to Dave there and let him know that you spoke with me and he might be able to work something out. I don't know how many were pre-ordered, but it's worth a try.

There is a blue ZX10R at Ultimate Cycles now, I declined the purchase because he wouldn't come down on the price. He is looking to sell the bike to the next person that is looking to pay $10,699 + title, tax and tags.
