Ain't she a beaut!!!!

Though the bike was by way of the Europe, by way of Japan, the Slip-On is all USA!

Weight - Stocker w/S-Bend - 7.2 lbs
Stocker muffler only - 6.4 lbs
Jardine Carbon w/Titanium S-Bend - 4.2 lbs
Jardine Carbon w/Bolt-On Flange - 4.6 lbs

In preliminary testing on this particular bike, the Bolt-On Flange muffler (utilizing the stock S-Bend) is 1-2 hp behind the larger diameter replacement S-Bend. We will continue to refine for maximum horsepower around a production bike.

Nice.

$?

So you (pipe mfrs) aren't expecting any long term Farbon Ciber problems with the 10R mufflers?

Prices will be in line with most others. Until the final production unit is determined, I won't know exactly.

We never expect any long term problems with Carbon Fiber. If we did, we wouldn't sell them. But it does need more attention paid to it than Aluminum, Stainless or Titanium. If the packing burns out, the shell will toast. We also don't recommend doing endless dyno runs with a Carbon Shell. She can't stand up to static position heat. When we do it, we place a 30" fan directly on the muffler to replicate dynamic air cooling. In lue of this kind of care/fan, I recomend if someone is doing lots of dyno testing, use a Aluminum, Stainless, or Titanium shell.

All that being said, the muffler seems to run cooler on this model than many others.

Thanks - question was kind of a comparison question (some co's wouldn't sell C/F mufflers for 12's).

Great to see they are going full boat with the ti S bend versus stainless. Hell, not even that little slovanian company that normally does ti everthing is going that route for this bike.

Any plans for sexier straps/hangers in the future?

I want to let you know a little story and share with the folks here about the customer service that comes along with it. A couple years ago I was looking for the stock Honda signal wire ends and found out that the company pictured above includes them with the RC pipes. I called up to order a set fully prepared to pay whatever they should go for as I let them know I had brank Y's pipes. When I asked how much, I was told, "how about $0". Free of charge is not something you ever expect when you tell someone you got their competitors product. Needless to say that is one of my favorite word of mouth stories when the topic comes up. I am happy to say it has helped sell at least 2 of their full systems I know of.
