That's what makes Daytona fun! The drafting etc, but nice to see that the ZX6RR's of the Haydens were 2nd and 3rd. Woulda been nice if they won but it was a close one! That Disalvo has some BALLS no doubt fairing claging right at the end there! Wheeeeew that was exciting!

Obvously the '04 ZX6RR is much more competitive this year. Roger Lee may have won it, if he hadn't been forced to chop the throttle when DiSalvo dropped down into him. And it is still early in the development cycle of the new ZX6.
In Superstock, the ZX10 looked like it had the measure of the R1. The Haydens just weren't it the right place at the right time for the drafting game to the flag.
It is going to be a fun year in the "production" classes. I am glad that Daytona is behind the teams and everyone made it out in one piece and no tire failures.
