zx10r extended warrantys
how about getting extended warranty on a zx10r? is it worth it and how much?

I've never bought an extended warranty on anything, I think they're a waste of money. If it wasn't profitable for the companies selling them they would't be it that business.

The 2002s and newer have upto 5 yrs total coverage.
If you keep the motor stock... they pay good dividends... on resale.
Paid $0 for my 2002 extended warranty(dealer concession).. but the price was $500 from Pueblo Motorsports. Dealer cost is about $150 less.
Not bad considering and its transferable to the next owner.

I think MSRP on the 4 year extended on the 10R is about $640.
