My insurance goes up about 250 a year with the same stipulations as my 01 GSXR 750.

State Farm quoted me about $35 dollars a month. I was kind of expecting a little better price since I have two cars, a camper and a house through them. Well worth it, from what I have read on this magnificent machine.

I Think it's the fact that I'm in Italy that it goes up so much, but I don't really care, I'm getting it anyway.

I found a cheaper rate through Orion today...$616.00 a year with a $250.00 deductible!

My wife called it in for me and Nationwide quoted $500 annually for the 10R, I have a 900RR and a 12R insured with them now.
I will check with Progressive too.

Just talked to my State Farm agent. Had been paying $542 a year for full covererage ($500 deductable), but no medical for myself (BC/BS at work) or passenger (NEVER carry any - no rear pegs). Their first quote was $765 for the same level of coverage. After a little bit of whinning, they cut it back to $515 a year.
Like it has been said many times here, check with more than one agent, even when dealing with the same insurance company. Some won't cover a bike unless you have other insurance with them and some won't cover sportbikes, but will cover Harleys. My State Farm agent insured my 12R when I had one ticket and not other policies with her. I now have a clean record and she has over 15 policies of mine, my family and my company.

Insurance.
I had Allstate. They wanted to have ALL of my coverages. Sent me a cancelation notice on my homeowners... so I shopped around, found a better rate ($200 less per year) and called the Allstate agent to thank them for not doing a damn thing.
Suprised I had found other coverage... the snotty agent remarked.. "Well, lets see if they're still around if a hurricane hits". I laughed.. and said " You stupid asses CANCELED my homeowners back in 1992 when Hurricane Andrew hit... so NONE of you insurance dweebs will be around when payday comes! He was silent.
