Wow, and substantially less horsepower throughout the range compared to the big Gix. It's quite surprising to see that it's 10-15 hp short everywhere except at the very top. Torque is correspondingly weak until the upper rev-range.
The site states that they will run all four of the bikes on the same day, same dyno, etc. next week.

I am suprised that it's lower through the whole powerband - Can't wait to see the test next week when they do them on all the same day on the same dyno. ------ NOW the question is: where is MY 10r?

Couldn't tell ya. Have not had the GSXR or 10 on the pump yet. Can't release the figures on the Honda, as it was a pre-production bike heading for the scrap bin.

German mag Motorrad has just tested them all at the same time
Track times
1. ZX10 in 1 1.39,5
2. R1 in 1.40,3
3. Blade in 1.40,5
4. Duc 999S in 1.41,8
5. GSXR1000 in 1.41,5
6. Aprillia in 1.42,00.

BTW - R1 ready for Daytona (Mike Velasco tuned - 167hp. Just ran it today on the same dyno that it made155hp stock. That's the usual goodies done tho, so no worries, they pretty much apply to any bike...Headwork, compression, cam timing, mapping, etc...
