...I need to ride a 6 to see if the 10 will even fit me for even the local rides, never mind going up to Dino's or Ozzy's or fish&pk's...maybe the aftermarket will have some alternative handlebar and foot control 'relocators' for us tallish/heavyish riders ...maybe T&H riders just need the ergos of the 12R in a lighter package...

i dont think i test ride on the 6 will be much of an indication of the suitability of the 10 wormy. they fit very differently. 10 defintiely has a better seat and ergo's, at least for me.

Licensed since 1994 and just recently bought a house so I just have to keep my ZX9R. Maybe a 2006 ZX10R will do me.

Riding since 91' and have been looking for somthing more formidable than my 12R for track days. The 10R looks like a hell of a choice.

Been riding since '81, if you knew my dealership, you wouldn't put a deposit down with them either.

EL -

Been riding 25 years, 23 on the street, and had two Kawasakis. Member of the GTOC.

I sat on the bike, and I don't know... I love the ergos and feel of the 6RR, I don't care for the 10R's tank pressure on my inside thigh... I think I have to ride the bike.

Can you arrange that for me? Seriously, I can't get to Daytona, and I'd love to ride before buying - do you know where else Kawi will demo this year?

Oh, and though I don't live in Cali, Diego is 48 minutes and $90 away by Southwest Airlines (and 5 hours on a bike), so I might consider a Cali dealer; depends on why you're asking, I guess.

I gotta admit, I cut my milkteeth on two stroke suzukis...GT250, 380...Then my first bike I bought was a GS1000... In '79, that was one of the best bikes you could buy...

I'm originally from southern calif. but now I'm in the cold midwest. Does that count?? I've been riding since 1976 when I had my 1st bike at the young age of 16: a brand new KH400 three cylinder two stroke. What a bike to learn on. Sure does bring back memories (and not all of them good)

Anyone care to guess who made it and what year?

No fair using the link to backtrack.

Looks like a circa 1968 or 69 Bridgestone trail 100. Which compared to my first bike; a 1967 Kawasaki 85 J1TL, was a big and powerful machine. BTW I always thought the Hurricane 175 was a real looker too. I guess this kind of dates me as well.

I think Ed K has it about right. My first bike was a Bushwacker. Any one know what that is? The first bike I ever sold as a salesman was a G3TR. I still remember the customers name. Gee, I hope this doesn't date me.... Hmmm. I am sure it wasn't that long ago.
