That was a little dissapointing, reading all that. But 2 of the testers wanted the ZX10R as their own and the others said "The ZX10R is our Mad and Bad" type bike. So I guess if you want "Mad & Bad" we better get it. But hey they say it also "sounds the best"!!!!!!!

Yep, I found it pretty funny that the Kaw won the outright perf categories, and two of three testers wanted it, but overall, I think it skeered 'em.

After reading the MCN article, I didn't see anything I didn't really like. Same thing for the Performance Bikes test. The Kawi turns in better, brakes as well or better than the others, and as long as you are in the right gear, it looks like it is faster than either the GSXR-1000 or the CBR1000RR. Sounds like it even rides good. And a great track day tool!

Why do these magazines do a 40 mph to 100 mph top gear roll on? Does anyone actually do that in real life? IMHO, this is a reasonable real life top gear roll on. You're cruising down the road @ 80 and come up to a logjam of cages so you roll it on in top gear. Zoom Zoom. 130 mph. Grin.

Thanks for the article Swft.

The truth is that all 4 bikes are gonna be real close. If you want bragging rights then ride better then them. The truth is that alot of the ones who want and buy and then brag aren't that good of riders anyways. Alot couldn't run an 11, let alone in the 10's or 9's on a 12r, busa, or any of the 1000's. Talk is cheap. Practice, make yourself a better rider. We all know (or we should all know) that a good rider on a new 600 will beat an avg rider on a liter bike. Let someone brag that this or that magazine rated their bike a hair better and then go out and SMOKE them on your new ZX10r. Thats all I've got to say; now bring on my blue or orange ZX10r and let's rumble. Yahooooooooooooooooooooooo

swft thanks for the scans
looking at it, to me it is clear, I ve made the right choice, the ZX10R looks miles better than the other 2. What about that comment from one of their staff "the GSXR looks less threatening" or something like that. Were is the world coming to if a Gixxer thou doesn't look threatening
