Yes, I'd build them. Personally, I like the look/style. It wouldn't be the biggest factor in buying a bike, but I do think it looks neat.

Horsepower wise, it's really tough to gain the dimensions you need when working around all the stock stuff on a bike's bodywork not designed to accept an undertail exhaust. You also have to be really careful with the radiant heat it produces. Ya got plastic on top & both sides, then you've got the tire and/or hugger to worry about on the down stroke. Tough deal...

Look at the Yamaha race team. They are running the single exhaust more than the dual on the Superstock bike. But yet from a marketing standpoint, everyone is excitied about the dual on the stocker. They probably had to balance the styling on the stocker, with keeping power up on restrictive muffler(s) that have to pass the EPA limit of 80 dbA. It'll be interesting to see which set-up they run on the race team more often. Could make problems for them from a marketing standpoint or raise questions. But's that's good for us in the aftermarket!!!!
