Ok, I'm over Bostrom, bring on the Haydens! Damn, what can you say?? Two years ago, I respected Nicky, but really wanted to see Eric win. That didn't happen, Nicky went off to MotoGP, and we all had to endure the sparkling demeanor of Matt. So it's a new year. We've got both Tommy and Rodger Lee riding green machines. And I'm rooting for Tommy...Yes, he's not riding Superbike, but that doesn't mean I don't want to see him do well in Superstock. And next year, you can guarantee that he'll be riding in Superbike. I guess as I get older, I really like to see the older guys do well, like Miguel. Just some thoughts! Maybe I'll take a poll!

Tommy won me over in 2003 after an impressive showing on the 636. I dont know how well he will adjust to the power difference, but I look forward to seeing him try.
Speaking of which this weekend im going to willow springs, and I know Hayes will be there on the 10R, but I heard a rumor that the rest of kawasaki's factory superstock riders will be down there to. I dont know about racing, but this is one of the few track sessions they will have to really dial in the 10R before ama begins so I hope to see them all there.

Tommy has the talent, ingelligence and speed, he just needs to gain confidence. When he starts to believe that he is supposed to win, he will.
Whether you think you can, or you think you can't.... You are right.
My riding partner rides a Ducati Ben Bostrom Replica 998S. Yesterday, he got an invitation from Austin Ducati to an open house, bar-b-que, meet Eric Bostrom party. I still wish E Boz' was on the green bike, but I will be cheering for him in Superbike, anyway. Since it is an open house, I am going. I will ask him about his brief ride on the ZX10. "Off the record", of course. Wink Wink.

E Boz' was very approachable and easy to talk to. As everyone knows, he rides another bike now, which he likes a lot. And he really likes his new team. He is very excited about his chances for the coming season. He thinks the Ducati generates tremendous grip. When someone mentioned that he used to push the ZX750 pretty hard in the turns, he said the Duc allows him to push harder in the corners than any bike he has ever ridden. His ZX7 would be pushing the front where the Ducati just sticks....
As for the ZX10, he did say that the ZX10 had a lot of motor. He did not mention much else. He is used to riding bikes that have had a full superbike treatment done to them. The ZX10 was not anywhere near the state of preparation of a Superbike. Or even full Superstock prepared bike.
He is a terrific spokesman for his team and sponsors and seems to be just like any other bike rider. He is passionate about these 2 wheeled toys. I am sure that anyone who meets him in person, will find themselves cheering for him on the race track.
