acquired a new sleeping bag and pad
I went shopping for a smaller sleeping bag than the winter type one I have.
I found a bag made by "Woods" that is rated for 3 season use. It packs into a stuff sack that is 6" in dia by 16" long.
Also picked up a self inflating mattress than packs down to about 5" dia by 22" long.
Both pieces and my tent will fit into a 14"dia. x 24"duffle bag and strap to the rack on my bike, and fits above the saddlebags nicely!
Been thinking about a shake down run to Sears Point races May 3,4,5. Leave Spokane on April 27, return home on May 7.
Anyone else going to be at this race?

That's only about an hour from my house, so I'll be there
They usually have a real nice ride around there area (300 miles) on the Thursday before the races, too, hosted by RKA.

Big Dog Pass
Hi all, was down at Laguna a couple of years ago and the big dog pass at the time included a track lap for the fans. You get one lap around and suprisingly they don't police the speed too much, the corkscrew is something else!! This happened on sunday morning, and they sent us out in groups of about 100 bikes a time.
