well fuck me....
i cant deny reality any longer. i wont be able to make laguna. i jsut cant justify it with my current financials. to say i'm pissed would be the understatement of the year. this was to be the highlight of my year but it just aint gonna work. problem is, with my luck there wont be a 2003 trip  story of my life. anyhow, i aint gonna bitch any more cause i believe there's alot of people who cant go this year for the same reason.
to dino, nano, doug, and everyone else who i was looking forward to meet again this year (tom, e_ticket, saliusvi, duc, and many more): sorry. i feel im lettin u down by my not gettin my shit together sooner, and gettin myself into this situation in the first place.  this is especially tru for the former group who i'v been psyching up for the ride down all year. fortunately fish will most likely be riding down w u at least, otherwise it would really start gettin thin. speaking of fortunately, fish was kind enough to buy my tickets from me, so at least i'm not out that money. thanks fish 
i'll try to make a shorter trip to norcal or at least oregon later in the summer maybe, if ya feel like hookin up dino. fish actually had a great idea about us meeting for the formula usa races in OR later this summer. that shouldnt be too hard for people to swing since it would be little mroe than a weekend thing.
damn, & i was so lookin forward to bringing a bottle of "real" whiskey to camp this year

Damn, got the truck to haul all the shite in,bringin' a community canopy,(in case sail can't make it)half gallon of jose's gold,etc., etc., You BETTER make it down later this summer so we can hit some of my roads together!! sorry for your situation guy,..L8R..Dino

dino, i havent had a better invitation in... well, longer than i can remember. i will take u up on that. i remember well how u were touting some of the great roads around ur place but we never had time to check em out. i look forward to attempting to keep up to u again in the near future!

Don't know what your financial position is, but I've got a motel room in Salinas with an extra bed from Thursday to and including Sunday night. You can pick up a General Admin ticket with paddock pass down there for $90 US. I usually live on Mexican food while I'm there so you might wanna keep the window in the room open. The room would probably work out to around $25 US/night for you
And don't worry, it's not a come on!!!!!!!!

Dino, don"t count me out just yet, ya ol' fart. I will not know untill the very last minute if I can make it or not...so stay the feck off my area.
At this moment the floods are takin their toll on me, got up at 3am last night and came home after midnight....300 gallons of water in my regular tank!!!!! shit! been pumpin and changin filters all day and night. waaa waaa waaa, nuf whinin. be safe!!!!!!

sail, damn, sorry to hear about the floods hope ya make it thru without damage. i didnt think it ever rained enough in TX to flood. aint ur state damn close to desert?

Justed wanted to say thank you for letting us feel welcome in your group. My name is Daniel Caldwell. I am the one who got sicker then shit!! I had a great time with you guys when i was around all of you. You have a great sense of friendship and care for one another.

Pat...and Anastasia..thank you so much for the asprin. I think it helped a little bit. I was in really bad shape that day...couldnt have been the 20 beers from all day and Friday Night...man what fun time....
