9 Weeks to Dino's House.............
Nine weeks from today we will be leaving Dino's to head south to Laguna!!(Dino's family will celebrate shortly afterward we leave,lol).
How about a roll call?
I for one will be arriving at Dino's on Sat. July 6 in the evening.

22348bcvc and I will either see you at Dino's or will meet you a day into the journey. Depending on how far we can make it from San Diego on Saturday.
We are planning on leaving at 5 AM Saturday morning, and the Oregon border is about 1000 miles away. So, we just may meet up with you at Sunday night's resting spot.
I just got my Ventura rack luggage system, so I'm ready to attch everythig to my bike.

We can leave mid-morning on Friday the 5th after I drop my dog off at the kennel IF nothing major happens on the 4th...my Lt. already "suggested" that I work my dog on the 4th even though its my regular day-off...I hope people 'behave' this year...

woohoo!!!
I was thinkin'...how do I celebrate my birthday this year???
ROADTRIP!!!!...I'm loading up the bike and headin' north up the coast for a week...hookin' up with speed150f (Barry) and some other friends with bikes from up there...hey! maybe a mad-freekin'-dash to the Oregon border...I am SO freekin' ready to ride!!!!!!!!!!...a tune-up ride for Laguna...WOOHOOO!!!!!!

...barring any logistical snafus, ddptet3 and I (and whom ever joins us) will head up the coast and rendezvous with you guys somewhere near the water...Pelican State Beach perhaps?...we're taking three days to get there...should be there by the 8th...the count-down begins........

with 3 days u could definitely get all the way to dino's, but u wouldnt have too much time to play along the way. where is the beach u mentioned? northern ca i assume?

The guys I am going with are planning to ride #96 from Happy Camp to Eureka. We will be seeing you in Eureka July 7, evening time if your there.

2 days is pushing it, but u can do it. we got from vancouver to dino's in one day, then to somewhere a bit north of eureka the next day (was a slow day mind u), then another delay filled day took us halfway to san fran (a VERY slow day), and finally to speed150's pad on the final day. now 2 days all the way from san diego is pushin it, but assuming u put in like 8 hours riding a day & dont have too many delays, u should be fine. and i'm not talking the I5. i mean going up the coast.

Dino, I will be dropping in on the 6th! But probably wont stay the night.
A friend is now going and he wants to motel it all the way. So I won't be packing a sleeping bag or tent to land at your place for the night.
We are thinking about getting a room in Albany for the night.
Any decent cheap rooms around Lebanon?
Have you figured out a route south to Eureka yet?

I got the messages on my cell phone, home phone, and pager...unfortunately not until late...I was involved in something at work that kept me busy from 6pm thru 11pm last night...so, I couldn't call you by then...try again tonite or I'll call you...you know me, work work work...July 5th can't come fast enough....
