Still Dreaming

Looking at the map and the website I think that I will leave Spokane Wa on July 6, I will go through Pendelton OR and take 207 to Bend OR. then south on 97 to Klamath Falls. Cut west over to Ashland OR, then South on I-5 to Hornbrook Ca. From there I am looking at taking 96 to 299 to Arcata Ca. Then south on 101 to Fortuna and Hiway 36. Hiway 36 all the way to Lare Almanor, where the road becomes Hiway 89. Then south on 89 to Truckee and I-80 into Reno. From there I am still not sure. Ozzy, the slow old man.

I would like to meet a couple of Kawi riders that live there.
Also Reno has good food, cheap rooms, and from Reno there are some great mountain passes crossing back over in the direction of Laguna Seca.
On the way down I May take Hiway 49 at Sattley and follow it to Placerville, then head over to Reno, and then back across the mountains to Laguna. Still looking at the wiggly lines on the map,LOL. Ozzy.

Ok guys and girls, here's my "tentative" plans, meaning it shall be open for debate/changes,etc. This is just a baseline thing.(what I would "like" to do)Sunday-leave my house and zig-zag south in the mountain twisties, head east to Sutherlin at I-5. If time allows, might make it to Grants Pass.I will pre-ride these roads to check their condition and to see how far we can get comfortably.(also the gas situation, although we will have chase truck w/ extra gas)MONDAY- leave from wherever we are to 199south-to Waldo road -to HAPPY CAMP. 96 south to Willow creek,299 west to Douglas City,36 west to Red Bluff.-eat,drink,sleep.TUESDAY--36 west to 101. Spend the night somewhere in the redwoods between Southfork and Leggett.Wednesday---Leggett to Fort Bragg to Willits, south on 101 to Ukiah, 253 to Boonville,to Philo,to Elk. South on 1 to Manchesterto Boonville,128 to Cloverdale. 101 to Lake Sonoma and beyond(freek knows where I'm talkin' 'bout!),turn aroun, find yer' way out of the vortex and get back to 1. From that point you're just about to 'Frisco and to me it's a clusterfuck from there on to MONTEREY. This leaves an extra day or 2 for slack!I'd like to roll into Monterey by Friday afternoon. ok people...fire away!!

I and the guys I will be with are going to stay a few miles north of Monterey.

On the way down from Dinos, looks to me like camping in the Eureka area is a good option.

Dino...are ya' gettin' my messages or no?...e-mail me or somethin', bro..I have a buddy on another 00'12R who needs to make plans with me (or us), but its contingent upon what I, or we, will be doing...I know you're kinda' busy, but throw me a bone, will'ya?...I still plan on joining you guys at your house for the tentative departure date of Monday(if its still cool)for the ride down, but I'd like to know if that's still a go and if you'll have a support truck, etc., so that Doug, Jay and I can plan acordingly...thanks, man!
