Boosted ZX14 Not Shifting into 3rd
Hey folks, new to the forum and in need of some help/advise/ wisdom?
I have a turbo zx14 that has been dyno tuned and runs very well, puts down good power, just shy of 400hp on the dyno for what ever that is worth. Tranny is stock, it had back cut gears but i removed and swapped out as it would not engage 3rd gear in any condition when i went to the dyno. After i swapped out my tranny from my stock nitrous bike it shifted all good on the dyno and i made many passes tuning it.
I run the AMS 1000 boost controller so i ramp up from 9psi at launch to 22-23psi after about 2 sec into the run. The bike will make the 1-2 shift every time BUT not the 2-3 shift, which is weird the 1-2 shift should be the hardest. I suspect it does not like the 2-3 shift as i'm at full boost at that point. I even tried launching in 2nd gear, it made the 2-3 shift but not the 3-4 shit....basically same issue. I left off coast for a second and then it will shift for me agin by foot or by air shifter.
I am fully auto shift, (nextup pnp shifter) PCV tpi with ignition, autotune, and the POD300. i ran all this stuff perfectly fine with my nitrous bike before no issues.
Also to add to the fun, every so often sitting at the tree at rev limit, it would kick the bike out of 1st gear into N or even 2nd once. I triple checked all my connections and electronics and all seemde fine. I tried foot shifting, short shifting with thumb button and nothing would work past the 1-2 shift....
I read somewhere that the shift fork shafts on higher HP bikes can have a small amount of flex and over time cause case issues...? this true? The turbo & motor setup came to me used, running and had about 50 passes on it over the coarse of a few years. I tought about getting the APE shift fork shafts and using my other case from my nitrous bike and lso putting the back cut gears back in with my forks, drum and the new shafts....
I am at a loss and wasted a whole season chasing this issue now....Hope to get it fixed over the winter and ready for next year at this point.
Please any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I would ask Kevin Drnach, on the Facebook zx11 zzr1100 page...he builds drag bikes and cuts own Tran gears
....another good forum to post this is on the hayabusa.org turbo forums....even though it's suzuki forum...great knowledge, and many own zx14 also
