Cleaning and lubing the chain really loosens up the silicone,maybe the best solution is to use Both!!!???

The peening tool is about $50 from Motion Pro. Most bike shops carry it.
A rivet type master link costs $6 at most shops.
IF you have an adjustable swingarm... a clip masterlink will probably be more economical
