NEED ADVICE FROM YOU NOS GUYS
I have a basic dry kit which I have used on and off for about a year. I used to have the horn button activate the nos. This as you know is on the left side. I gear changed by using a electric shifter. I could not get the electric shifter to work consistantly and changed to a air shifter. The button for this also went on the left side. I tried using the start button on my right side to activate the nos but my right hand is pretty messed up due to several bike accidents and this was no use. How can I activate my nos now? Any ideas? I hope this makes sense
Cheers

This sounds great. Is this what you use? Where can I get this throttle microswitch and do you have or know where I can get any pics of the install?.

Eh..I dont personally use it...I like the button
Lots of people do however...If I recall "The Jackshow" had something he was making/selling...but not sure.
You could possibly also retrofit one from a car kit (they use WOT switches all the time) to work on your throttle body.
Come to think of it...Im nearly positive Vinny has a microswitch setup on his 12R for the spray.....Im sure he has pics of it!

MPS & Schnitz both have a Dual Button that mounts on the handle bar. since you do not really want to be on NOS while shifting, just use the 2 buttons. I also made a 100% Micro switch to activate the NOS, but it was a Safety switch and when I used it only (Because I broke the cheap LP Button) the bike was hard to ride when hitting NOS in 1 & 2nd Gear and going from 180 to 240 HP!

Now, when you go "hard" WOT you will get a short circuit between the 2 wires, it works very well.
My nos activation requires hi-beam to be activated OR the pass button to be pressed (this activates a relay I installed) AND a circuit must exist between the 2 wires on the throttle body (my custom WOT switch).
Hope I explained it OK, I may be able to get some pics if it doesn't make sense.

NLR sells a tps activated microswitch that you can set to activate nitrous at any given throttle position. If you're just spraying a small dry shot, consider a WOT switch and RPM window switch. If you need more control without the use of a button, try the Schnitz Racing DCS-101 controller that will allow you to activate % over time.
