Glad to see your back on the 12. I saw the HEMI thread. I gotta Silverado I am playing with that goes14.80s@93 mph. Lowered with 20' archers, no moldings etc, pretty slick. You can see some pics at www.ls1tech.com in the truck appearance section if you give a shit. Under Vortech5300 pics. Hopefully I will see ya at the shootout. My bike will be at Johnnys in Jan for a complete rebuild.

12-1, 1397 Wisecos, Fully ported head w/serdi valve job, new rod and main bearings. New cam chain and all gaskets and seals. Tranny and drum is going to R&D for the works. Header is going to Jet Hot for a coating. Prolly gonna keep the yosh cams because they have a good powerband and they are very reliable (quality wise). Gonna change the degree numbers up some and put a good set of springs in it.. A FULL map job for the motor then I will bring it back after a couple hundred miles to update the map and build a nitrous map. Just gonna be a good, reliable lil street motor. I figure I can go ATLEAST 9.20s on motor with it at stock wheelbase and then maybe 8.90s-9.0s on squirt. Should last a while and be good in twisties and commuting etc. Still trying to get the cash together.

That's a clean truck Alan,I need to lower mine soon, been looking at some 22" rims,my buddy is selling them, don't know what kind they are,but they are black spoke, chrome lip,and that would look sweet on my truck since it's gray.I checked out the web site, pretty cool stuff, you guys are getting those 5.3's to move,a few of my friends have em,but they just leave em alone around here.Your busa will probably be quicker then that, you can ride, shit, not to take anything away from george, but look at his ET's at 60"w/the 1397+dope,look at yours w/the stock motor and dry dope, any questions?

WELL, realistically I am thinking it will go some 9.teens on motor with some GOOD practice on a shinko or MCR1. Just not sure how much its gonna wheelie, especially in 2nd when the dope comes on. Every tenth seems harder and harder to knock off no matter how much stuff I change. I am going back to the track in about 2 weeks(when I get off this shut down) just to practice riding again and REALLY get my 60's and 330's back and consistantly. Last time at the strip was in may and it was my first time of the year. I went 4 weekends in may and haven't been back. The last time I went a 1.57, 1.59, 1.60, 1.61 and a bunch of 1.62s. One dope I don't 60' near as good because I KNOW whats gonna happen when I hit second so I want it nice and planted on the ground in 1st before I shift. I was 60' shitty 1.63s-1.65s on the gas passes and still going 9.2x back to back . My 9.15@158.45 was only a 1.61 60'. I wish I had a progressive so I could get the nitrous on a little later in 2nd, then I would be confident leaving harder in 1st. We'll see...

BTW Joey, black spokes with polished lips will look awesome on a gray truck but I wouldn't lower it on 22"s. 20"s with a 4/6 drop would look awesome on yr dodge. BTW those hemis WAKE UP with full length headers and a good catback system. A dude down here has that setup along with an intake system and a crank pulley and he made 292hp to the tires and the truck went 14.20s@96mph. The hemis have a lot more bottom end then the chevs. They 60' much better then a chev. Mine only 60's 2.25-2.28s, not spinning and thats after practicing techniques for the convertor's lack of stall speed.

Stacy is 60'ing the phuck outta your bike, mid 1.40s. DAMN IT!. I gotta get some practice dude.

I have done a few mods to the Dodge, one thing that really helped it in the mph dep.Cutting a restrictive wire to the TCM,I do think my truck needs a better exhuast, seems like all my other trucks/cars in the past responded to Flowmasters better then the Hemi. You should have seen how quick the 12 was, stacey can truely jump from bike to bike,I never gave him enough credit in the past, traction was so bad that night,I'm surprised he did that good on it.It had MUCH more potential.By the way,at least the rear needs to be lowered on the Dodge.

Why don't yall go to Motorplex or somewhere with a 1/4 track? I bet that thing goes 8s easy with Stacy on it. 130mph in the 1/8??? Phuck! That sucker will prolly go 8.70s with traction and on the squirt.

Its hard enough to ride my own bike without practice, I can't believe how truly talented some people are that can jump on any bike and in only a couple passes run better then its owner. Stacy & Dave are some riding mothers F&*KERS, thats fo sho. My buddy WES down here was a busa guy back in 99-2001. He grew up in NC with Johnny Locklear and them boys. He is a riding mutha to but he is not into it any more. I don't think he even has the bike anymore. He had a 1507 with a big valve carpentor head on it that made 230+hp on Mancuso HDs dyno with a weak fuel pump and 13.8-1 lean ass fuel ratio. He could jump on my bike and as long as the track was hookin, could go 1.54-1.55 pretty easy and went a best of 1.52. This was a stock wheelbase, d207zr with 34psi. On that 1.52 run he missed 4th and coasted through to a 9.39@145 back in mid 02. True rider. Too bad he got out of it. I want to consistantly 60' 1.55s and I will be happy.

Holy shit!Big difference Ken..Pop the hood, look at the PCM on the fire wall,it has 4 plugs, the bottom plug, pull it off, look at the wires in the harness, they are exposed to see the colors, grab the yellow wire w/the green stripe,yellow/green,nothing else.Cut it.That's right,it won't hurt anything, just cut it.Tape off the ends and stick the plug back in.Your car is slow, are you reading this?Good, you need to do it too.The truck will get 2nd gear scratches and the speedo will jump 5mph between 1st and 2nd gear shifts! This wire goes to the 'tcm",a computer that contrlos the transmission. It also conects to the PCM,that's where the transmissions message to retard timing and cut fuel is sent,by eliminating the wire, you eliminate the pathway from the TCM to the PCM.I got this from a forum where there are many tweeks and things about the Hemi and anything that has to do w/Mopar.
