IS MY CRANK JUNK OR NOT?
As some of you may or not know my A1 motor seized on me last year due to oil starvation. Since then I have tore the motor down and salvaged what I could. My crank has damage to the main four big end journals. Since I am looking to get a 1375 stroker kit I was wondering whether I could use this crank for the exchange.

Call Falicon, but if the Mains are bad, you gain nothing with the stroke because all of the work needed to repair your crank would be added to the cost of the stroke!

Just got off the phone to Falicon. They said as long as the Journals have no cracks in them it wont be a problem to stroke them. In fact they said allot of the cranks they stroke are damaged. They also said after the stroke was done its best to have it balanced which I will do.
So my next question is can anybody out there repair and rebore\plate my cyclinder block. One of the bores has about a half inch hair line crack in it.

I think I would get another Cylinder "USED" since it will be bored and replated. There are always cylinders around, a gouge in the cylinder no problem, but a crack, I would toss it.

Your post is confusing me a little. The rod and journals and main journals are two different things. The rod journals can have damage if it's going to be stroked. The main journals will have to be repaired whether it's stroked or not. Stroking does nothing to the mains.

Check this link out and give them a call.....your cylinder is aluminum and can be repaired....if the cost is not out of your budget.
