Congratulations! I just looked on Dragbike.com at the race results and see that Chad actually ran the quicker ET but lost on the tree. I predict a victory for Chad in 600SS at the Finals in Gainsville, mainly because I will be there to cheer!

Thanks Dean for the post and all you guys for the kind words and encouragement, I'll make sure that Chad will see this.
It was a good week-end, he ran great but his lack of pro-tree experience caught up with him when he faced Chip in the finals.
The 600 Supersport class is getting like NHRA Prostock cars, the #13 qualifiers time was a 10.06 with 9 bikes in the nines!
Mad Mike was flying with a 9.18 and several 20's, I'm thinking of re-naming him Happy Mike to go with that mile wide grin of his. Good job Mike.
It was great to see Dean again and his times were IMPRESSIVE, especially considering how little motor work is done to that good looking ZRX.
As always, I enjoyed Harry's company and I'm looking forward to seeing his second 12 racing soon.
Gainesville's coming soon and I think Chad's ready.
Thanks again guys,
Proud oldkawboy....Dan

Thanks Dan, I look forward to seeing Chad take home the trophy in Gainesville. The air was good in Alabama (at least during the day) and the ZRX ran pretty well. I bested my .62 on Saturday with;
60'_____330'___1/8____mph___1000'___1/4____mph
1.573__4.075__6.177__116.17__8.024__9.614__140.38 .523 rt
1.592__4.081__6.169__117.18__8.002__9.578__141.82 .539 rt
I couldn't believe the mph on the .57 run. With that short time I should've been slower. But Sunday second round, the air was good again, and I wanted to go fast, even though I dialed 9.63;
60'_____330'___1/8____mph___1000'___1/4____mph
1.531__4.024__6.118__116.76__7.962__9.576__132.78 .545 rt
I looked around at the 1000ft and he was WAY back there. I cut thr throttle and coasted to what I thought would be an easy win. Turns out he cut a .562 light and ran a 9.14 on a 9.02. I was pissed that I threw it away, but happy with a frickin' 6.11!!! I think if I'd held it out, I would've gone 9.52 easy.
It was a good weekend even though I went out in the 2nd round 3 times :/ Still had fun. See you all here in Gainesville next month

9.50s on that little motor? Jeez! You definitely got the tune on that baby. Mine's still apart and I trying to figure out what to throw away. Sent crank back to check balance and all is okay. I'm confused. Wanna buy some X-1s?
Great job, Chad.
