1998 ZX9R 1/4 mile times

just dropping some numbers here for some runs tonight because I'm bored.

I didn't get to ride that 12R with N2O, but the "official" rider did and we finally got the nitrous working KINDA right.
It went 9.26 at 155mph with a soggy 1.62 60' on it's 60" WB.
I still don't think it's got the MPH it should have though.
It's an NX kit is all I know.....40hp shot.

I got to ride a 98 9R with a few inches on the wheelbase, and a standard Pirelli tire. It was pretty damn fun.
I fit that bike better than a 12!

First pass: 10.12 @ 134 no nitrous
Second pass: 9.99 @ 135 (no nitrous, won a bet)
Third pass: 9.99 @ 137 (used nitrous, but it was jacked up. DISCONNECTED NITROUS, advanced timing to +5 afterwards)
Fourth pass: 9.65 @ 140 (1.48 60')
Fifth pass 9.74 @ 140 (started to wheelie in 1st)

Two passes, spun rear tire. Should have Schinko next week I'm told.

A fun night! Maybe I'll get to ride my own bike soon. hehe. (hopefully Saturday in Cincy)

Nice times BA. How did the nitrous get disconnected?

we physically disconnected it because something wasn't set right.

It was popping, backfiring and blowing mucho black smoke I was told, after that run. The owner decided to look at it later, and to disconnect it for the night.

Totally cool with me, the bike was strong anyway.

Got a Schinko for that 9R now!

Supposed to have an 80hp shot (!!) for the Thursday T&T.

I sooo can't wait!! As long as I go faster than the last good rider went, I'll be happy. They went 9.39. I'm thinkin I can beat that!

My money's on me too Dan. LOL!

...went 9.79 on the 2nd and 'last' pass using the Schinko'd 9R yesterday, and that was with a shitty, spinning 1.60 60'. (went 1.48 last week)
Track was crap.

Went 9.47@148 in humid high 80's temps on my 12R now that it's running.
Pretty happy considering that's only my 2nd pass on my bike with it running correctly this year!!!!! 60' was a skoche soft (.05), and no nutec.
Dan, I'm still aiming for "you now what".
