BEAR Racing Finally opens a Website

Some of you know BEAR Racing who made Neat parts for his Bikes and I would get Group Buys to have him make the same things for us. After Years of having other people sell his things (Some at Prices he Hated) now you can go Directly to Him.

BEAR and I are working on a x14 Clutch for the ZX12R. A while back, he cobbled one together and it worked. Now I am having him make a Billet 14 Basket with The Center Hole, Rivet Placement and Spring Relief to Fit the 12 Clutch Gear. Then using the 14 clutch hub and plates and steels, Set this up. The 14 has the same Plates as the Busa and we all know that (One of the Advantages) the Busa has over the 12 is that it is a lot easier to Launch Consistently.

Since I now only live 20 miles from Falicon I took one of his 14 and 12 Baskets for him to Mount the 12 Gear. He then offered to take a Blank 14 Basket and cut the Center and Rivets Holes the same as the 14 but has been too busy for the last Month to get this done so Pierre is going to make a Billet Basket for the 14 but with the 12 gear machinning. More later.

please make it a slider basket. that way it can be used as a regular basket, or we can get a slider or my favourite the gen 2 multi lock up.

Pierre has a set up that he made for his son that does not have a Left hand. He will have to explain but the way it works is like a Slider, but it has very little wear and can be used "All Day" with no problems. We are looking at a basket that will use a Titanium Ring on the Outter edge to keep it strong but Light with pleanty of Oil and cooling. He will post more about it.

Personally Im not interested in a slider, i just want to get an engine driven lock up with the 14 pack (which means the basket has to have the threaded holes not machined grooves for lightening like some do). mtc wont make it. rock solid has had my parts for almost 5? years and wont answer me now as Bob was going to make me a custom setup. the engine driven lock ups are much more forgiving for setting up static pressure than the the older transmission driven multis.

one of the nice things with the current line of the mtc gen 2 clutch is that a lot of the clutch dust is confined int the basket and can be periodically cleaned out instead of having it end up in the oil pan. baskets full of lightening holes obviously dont contain the crap from regular abuse.
