anyone know how to wire a relay.
I'm going to try this myself.
http://www.bikeland.org/board/viewthread.php?FID=13&TID=8087&set_time=1058591444
I don't know squat about electronics.
I am tring to activate the resistor when i trigger the
nitrous.
I need to know how to wire this.
The relay has 5 prongs. 30, 85,86,87, and 87a.
It appears that I have 6 wire to manage for this project.
12v, ground, temp wire in, temp wire out w/resistor,
temp wire out w/o resistor, trigger from nitrous.
Maybe i can use the 12 trigger and not need a power source.
HELP!

Let see if i got this straight
85 ground
86 12v trigger (same one for nitrous)
30 temp wire in
87a the normal output (no resistor)
87 the output when (with resistor)
both 87 and 87a would go to the temp wire to the cpu.
Any concern about current applied to bottom of the resistor.
seems i heard resistors have a diode in them. true?
THANKS GUYS

P.S. Save me from myself if you see any problems with my plan.
